• Adjustable Heights for Each Child: Our adjustable Montessori table and chair set lets siblings of different (or same) sizes sit comfortably together. Each child’s side of the table adjusts independently to three heights, while each chair offers two seat heights and comes in a choice of Small or Large. This helps you find a comfortable fit for each child, with feet supported on the floor and their tabletop within easy reach.
• Development-Focused Design: Children have plenty to concentrate on, from guiding a spoon into a bowl to completing a puzzle. Our child-sized Montessori weaning table and chairs give them comfortable support so they can focus on what their hands and minds are learning. Everyday opportunities to practise and succeed help build confidence and independence.
• Together, with Their Own Space: Each child has a defined area for meals, toys, and creative activities while enjoying the company of a sibling or friend. This shared table for two gives them room to focus on their own activity and opportunities to practise sharing when they choose.
• Handy Borders for Less Mess: Borders around each child’s workspace help keep snacks, toys, and art supplies from rolling or sliding off the sides. Keeping materials within reach means fewer interruptions to their activities and less picking up from the floor for you.
• All-Purpose Sliding Tray Included: The included multipurpose tray slides along the central rail so you can position shared snacks, coloured pencils, or toys where they’re needed. It stays accessible even when the two tabletops are set at different heights.
• Sturdy Construction and Thoughtful Safety Details: Made from high-quality Maple or Birch plywood, this wooden toddler table and chair set provides sturdy support for everyday meals and play. Rounded corners, smooth edges, and non-toxic finishes are chosen with little hands in mind.
• Exceptional Quality, Made in Vancouver: Designed and manufactured in Vancouver, Canada, our Montessori table and chair set is carefully finished down to the smallest details. We meticulously fill small holes and varnish the edges to create a smooth, beautiful finish you can see and feel.
• Beautiful and Compact: A shared setup for two children brings meals and activities together in one compact space. Natural wood and simple lines make the Papaya Double an inviting addition to your playroom, dining area, or shared family space.
• Quick and Easy Assembly: Easy-to-follow instructions make assembling your adjustable toddler table and chairs straightforward, so you can get their shared space ready for meals, play, and creating together.
• 60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee: We want you and your little ones to love your Papaya Double. If it isn’t right for your family, you can return it within 60 days, subject to our return policy.

We select our materials with safety as our first priority, followed by strength and natural beauty. All our plywood meets CARB Phase 2 and TSCA Title VI formaldehyde emission standards, reflecting our commitment to thoughtfully made furniture for your home.

3/4-inch PureBond® Maple Plywood

Our premium maple plywood is made using PureBond® formaldehyde-free adhesive technology. We are one of the few children’s furniture brands offering this type of wood. Its light tone and smooth, hand-varnished finish create a fresh, modern look. We lightly tint the edges for a clean, Scandinavian-inspired finish that complements the wood’s natural beauty.

3/4-inch Birch Plywood

Our birch plywood comes prefinished with a clear coating that highlights its natural grain. We carefully sand and hand-seal the edges to showcase the plywood’s distinctive layers. Its slightly warmer tone brings a welcoming feel to your space, while its low formaldehyde emissions meet CARB Phase 2 and TSCA Title VI standards.

White Melamine with a Plywood Core

The white components feature a durable melamine surface over a sturdy plywood core, with no particleboard. The clean white finish provides a neutral balance alongside the natural wood.

About CARB Phase 2 and TSCA Title VI

CARB Phase 2 is California’s standard limiting formaldehyde emissions from composite wood products, including hardwood plywood, particleboard, and MDF. TSCA Title VI establishes corresponding standards across the United States. These regulations include testing and certification requirements to help reduce formaldehyde emissions into indoor air.

When we say PureBond technology is “formaldehyde-free,” we’re describing our hardwood plywood panels, which are comprised of no added urea formaldehyde components and assembled with no-added urea-formaldehyde (UF) adhesives.
